FuYong currently isprofessor, and director of Editorial Department "Journal of International Relations", Institute of International Relations, Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences.
Dr. Fu received her PhD in International Relations from the School of International Relations and Public affairs, Fudan University in 2005. Shewas a visiting scholar at SAIS John-Hopkins University, Universit Panthon Sorbonne, Yale University, University of Macau and National Chengchi University, respectively in 2001, 2006, 2013,2014 and 2016.
Herresearch interests focus on non-traditional security, US strategy in Russia and Eurasia, and Middle East security. Over the past 25 years’ academic career, she has published several papers, such as "Iran Nuclear Crisis and the future of compromise between US and Iran"(Contemporary International Relations 2014); "Strategic analysis of resetting US-Russia relations"(Contemporary International Relations 2010),etc.She is the author of Studies on Non-traditional Security and China(Shanghai People's publishing House 2007).
