Dr. LiYingcai received his MA in International Politics from Zhejiang University in 2006and Ph.D. in International Relations from School of International Relations and Public Affairs, FudanUniversityin 2013. From July 2006 to June 2010, he served as lecturerin Yan’an University. In July 2013, he joined the Institute of International Relations of SASS.
Hisresearch interests cover UN peacekeeping and peacebuilding, Sub-Africa security, security assistance and Sino-African relations.
He haspublishedonebook:Research on the UN’s Electoral Assistance (published by Shishi Pressin 2016). He also published more than twenty academic papers in Foreign Affairs Review,The Journal of International Studies and Contemporary World and Socialism, etc. He hasalso written a large number of reviews published in the Chinese and foreign news papers such as China’s Global Timesand Singapore’s lianhe zaobao.
